Founded in 1993 under ESA (European Space Agency) sponsored project and backed by top VC European and US funds in 2003, Media Lario Technologies (MLT) is a high precision optic manufacturer, with Headquarter in Lecco (Italy) and a office in Pleasanton, CA, USA.
MLT’s track-record spans 15-years in precision reflective optics for applications in Space & Terrestrial telescopes (for ESA, ASI, ESO, other Government Agencies and the foremost companies working in this field) being one of the main supplier of reflective mirrors for X-ray telescopes and radiotelescopes.
From 2004 the company has also successfully spun-off the “high accuracy replication by e-forming” technology into semiconductor equipments (for Intel, Nikon, Canon, ASML, Philips, Ushio and other relevant customers), and other high-growth applications.
The Company‘s products span from Mirror Modules for X-ray telescopes (ESA XMM-Newton, and currently MPE eRosita and ASI NHXM), to Main Reflectos Panels for Radiotelescopes (ESO ALMA project, INAOE GMT/LMT, IRAM PdBI) and Glass panels for Cherenkov telescopes (MAGIC II project) and from Grazing and Normal Incidence Collectors for EUV lithography equipment to Normal Incident Mirrors for medical devices and tests facilities (ESA Large Solar Simulator).
